My Path to Tai Chi, Qigong and Holistic Medicine

When I was starting out as a doctor, my focus was mainly on treating disease. I felt bad when I saw patient at end stage of their illness, and felt hopeless. I use to be sad when I see patient hopeless suffering from end stage illness and dying from end stage illness. I realized there is nothing I can do. Now, my focus has changed; I focus is on prevention, education, and help people to understand the importance of prevention. This way people can avoid getting the disease, or at least they have hope for healing. My work may not seem to be that impressive to some people, but it has tremendous value because I can help people to avoid these illnesses, prolong their lives, and bring back the happiness. Their quality of life improves. From my workshops, speaking, my training programs, my books, my teaching of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, I have seen many changes in people’s life: their physical health, emotional health, energy level, creativity, and their overall wellbeing. I know that my work has changed many lives, I can see and can feel their happiness. I believe this is a true quality from a doctor, a doctor who cares about your health, a doctor who does not want you to get the disease. I believe this is what gives a doctor the most value.

Tai Chi and Qi Gong are wonderful learning and healing journey. People from all over the world practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong for its health and healing benefits. These include improving internal and external strength, internal harmony, restore mental clarity, balanced emotion, and better over-all health. Additionally, you can enjoy the sensation and satisfaction that comes from practicing Tai Chi movements. You will become more and more familiar with your own energy, you passion, your wellbeing. This is a journey that is very rewarding to our life.

No one can live forever, but everyone can find ways to enjoy the good health, happiness and whatever days and years we have. If we have many physical illness, emotional disturbances, and have to struggle on the daily basis, we lose the precious days and years we have. That is not quality of living. In my medical practice in China, I didn’t often see people suffer from depression. Living in Unites States over 20 years, I have seen many people suffer from depression. We can make some changes; we can overcome our physical and emotional issues with right methods. Practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong is a very effective method that can really make difference in people’s life and health. I highly recommend anyone to just try.

Tai Chi and Qi Gong has already changed my life in many ways. It is an energy medicine science that western scientists just start to pay attention to it. Find out the truth of Tai Chi by trying it yourself, you will enjoy it.
